This is the america i hate with a passion. America could and should be better than this. 9/11 was a terrible event. But i am now starting to think Bush and co have fallen into the hands of the very people it's been trying to destroy in it's war on terror (should that be retitled to the war on resources ? profits goto Cheney's old buddy's). I guess this could be the start of America's decline as a nation to look upto when struggling for democracy in a repressed country, if it forgets the crimes of the past and the crimes of the present in regards to torture.
Perhaps people will turn to radical islam or other radical political movement's.
America is blind to the crimes it helps create and maintains through collective stupidity and ignorance.
It's time American's woke up and took back power from the crazy fool's that have the reins of power, for their own ends, not as public servants voted to enact the will of the American people.
Democracy is becoming legend and slowly turning into myth. It is a dream of a bye gone era.
The Human race are but children playing with fire and therefore it's own future.
I hope somebody with a vision steps upto the plate as American's would say and forces a sea change in all western democracy's.
It does not have to be a politican who have long since lost my faith in the ablity to lead us forward into a peaceful future.
