I will need to do these courses to gain a degree in psychology:

An Introduction to the Social Sciences: Understanding Social Change (DD100)
Discovering Science (S103)
Biological Psychology: Exploring the Brain (SD226)
Child Development (ED209)
Exploring Psychology (DSE212)
Human Biology (SK277)
Cognitive Psychology (DD303)

They all add upto 360ish points (courses have points which are used to gain a degree). That's the mountain i will have to climb. It'll take me 5-6 years to get a degree. Which is not bad really, considering it's a distance learning University. Gives me a structure to my day and a goal to work towards.
Something i've been lacking in recent year's.

I've ordered the good study guide and i shall probably get the essay writing guide as well.
I just need to brush up on my english langauge skills (something i used to be good at, not a genius by any means).

I can't see myself as a clinical psychologist though. Far too close to home as the phrase goes. I have my own evil ends for wanting a degree in psychology. Mainly to understand how the mind works and see if i can translate that into helping myself find a way out of depression.
If all goes well i shall start either Discovering science or the introduction to social sciences in october of this year or failing that this time next year. It all depends on how quick i am at registering for the courses.
