The Daily mail is always funny even though i feel dirty after reading it.

This little bit from a report on Daniel Radcliffe in that play where hes naked and shock horror in love with a horse got me chuckling.

He will not be the only performer in the nude: there is also Joanna Christie, 24, who plays the stablegirl with whom he has a relationship.

Studio chiefs are said to fear the scenes could damage their multi-million-dollar film franchise and could even lead to Radcliffe being replaced as the young wizard.

One was quoted as saying: "Warner Bros have been building up their publicity machine for Harry's first - chaste - screen kiss when the next Potter film (Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix) comes out in the summer.

"Now our star is out there doing full-frontal sex. We've been blown completely out of the water by this."

 

Like it's going to hurt the films profits, if anything it'll make the teenage fan girls who like Daniel Radcliffe (there has to be some right ?) to want to A>see the play B>see the film and C> Buy the deathly hallows so they can imagine Daniel Radcliffe acting out Harry Potter's final moments as a character (and by that i don't mean Harry being dead, though i guess madron will jump for joy if Ron gets killed off and Hermione runs off with Dobby).

 

I would link to the full article but, it's not worksafe and i'm still scrubbing my eyes out after seeing Harry Potters bum.

I was making a subtle (but probably unfunny) joke there, using the plays theme about loving another speicies of animal.

To quote the bloodhound gang "You and me baby ain't nothing but mammals lets do it like they do on the discovery channel".

I guess i need to retire to bed and gibber about Dobby stealing Draco's socks cos they will help Harry defeat Lord Voldemort because Dumbledore hexed them into making Lord Voldemort fall in love with Harry, thus killing himself without Harry having to lift a finger.

I say big deal. Warner Brothers is overreacting, but they do kind of have a point with the whole kiss thing, and Mr Radcliffe is more or less the Harry Potter icon.

I don't think it'll matter in the slightest. What with the final book coming out in July, Harry Potter mania is going to hit it's peak. The Half Blood Prince might suffer at the boxoffice, but it's hard to say at this point. But it won't be because of Daniel Radcliffe taking his kit off.
Only prudes will find that worrying and i guess that idiot woman from America will jump on it as further proof that Harry Potter is evil etc
