Spoilers ahoy!
I loved every minute of it. Yes there were some plot flaws, but they were over shadowed by Freema's performance as Martha Jones. She was more on the ball than Rose was. Though to be fair on Rose she was besotted with the Doctor the minute she clapped eyes on him.
Tennant was great as the Doctor, i think he's finally nailed the character.
My favourite bits from Smith and Jones:
The Hospital being transported to the moon.
Martha's reactions to being on the moon.
The Doctor killing that motorcycle bloke dead with radioactive X-Rays. Then his little dance to get rid of the radiation, which ended up with him saying "I look stupid with one shoe. Barefeet it is". Oh and his "I loved my sonic screwdriver" then he chucked it away without a second glance.
The old lady/plasmavore sucking peoples blood with a straw. That was creepy. I think a few kids will be wary of straws this morning.
The Doctor winking at Martha when she discovered he had two hearts.
The Judoon platoon on the moon. Briggs did excellent voice work for the Judoon. "Justice is Swift".
The Doctor's throw away comment about having a brother, but not anymore (A hint towards the Master perhaps?)
The Doctor tricking the plasmavore into drinking his blood and then pretending to play dead. I reckon he put himself into a healing Time Lord trance type thing. Martha was quite clever though, figuring out she'd have to pump both sides of his chest "Two hearts".
The Doctor actually saved the day without a sonic screwdriver :-D
Martha's family were a big bunch of kids, no wonder Martha went into that alleyway where the Doctor parked his TARDIS.
And i loved the Doctor's smartass comment about not being allowed to mess about with events aside from pulling cheap tricks.
The best bit was Martha's reaction to the TARDIS, she seemed to be quicker on the uptake than Rose was about the TARDIS's dimensions :-D
The Doctor was quite sarcastic as well when Martha was blabbering about the TARDIS hehe.
Overall it was the best opening episode for the new series so far. It hit the ground running.
The Shakespeare episode looks epic, though i guess those stuffy old English teachers will be getting quite irate with the character of Shakespeare the Elizabethan Rock Star.
Over all I give Smith and Jones 9/10. I've seen some of the press reviews and i think the backlash has begun from some TV critics, though i never pay attention to those idiotic people who love nothing better than ripping the joy out of a TV show. But the ratings were good last night 8.9 million over night.

I liked the Doctor's conversation with the plasmavore ... where he kept going on about GCSEs (...although you don't actually learn that stuff...)
And I liked the little bit about the laser spanner, as well.
