1. Total number of books I own: I lost count, but it's probably in the region of 60 to 70 books.
2. The last book I bought: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (well i erm preordered it in december or January)
3. The last book I read: Return of the king - J.R. Tolkien - Lord of the rings is the best book ever in my view. Tolkien wanted to release it as one book, but there was a paper shortage at the time.
4. Five books I read a lot: History books on WWII i seem to read a lot of those (i can't recall the one i've read most), The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien, The Lion the witch and the wardrobe by C.S. Lewis, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K Rowling and last but not least Soul Music by Terry Prachett (it's an extremely good book - music with rocks in).
What i will say is i do read an awful lot of books, all in my pursuit of knowledge. However i like fictional books a lot more than non fiction books as most are quite depressing, unless it's the follow upto Prozac Nation. Elizabeth Wurtzel is fucking nuts. I thought i was bad, compared to her i'm as sane as Prince Charles is when talking to his plants.
I also read a lot of classic novels from the likes Dickens to Hardy. However Moby Dick is far too long and drives me up the wall. Though it is an extremely good book otherwise. I have read the bible all the way through. It's full of contradictions, but occasionaly has some good pieces of wisdom. You just have to cut out all the political spin thats been added over the centuries.
And i do enjoy reading Horror novels. Shaun Hutson (sp?) is pretty good for an Iron Maiden fan ;)
