And i am amazed at some of the quality thats there. The songs aren't as nearly as polished as they are today. But you can see the inklings of talent that all the members of that band have.
I'm remebering the south park gig as well. An overall great day out, even if i was stuck minding my friends cider while one of them went off to get his inhaler. They let him back onto the site, which was really cool of them.
The big security guard who let us into the inner barrier, held 200 people back on his own when Radiohead were in full swing "Get the fuck back" i heard him shouting.
I probably do listen to radiohead a bit too much. But i am starting to get back into REM again.
Arpeggi from the Ether festival was very intresting in the way it was constructed sonically. Even though i don't possess a musical talent in my body (apart from being able to hit drums to a tribal beat), i'm liking what i've heard so far.
Ohhh Thom Yorke was damn funny on BBC Breakfast the other day. He had that just out of bed look hair.
It was a serious issue though. He apprently got writers block due to his fear over climate change, so helping friends of the earth is letting him deal with that. He also avoided answering the question about how well Radioheads new recording sessions are going.
They are probably just going to jam until Nigel finishes producing Sir Pauls latest album.
