Don't read if you haven't read the half blood prince.... I'm focusing on an error i believe Voldemort made in one of the books regarding Harry. This is a ramble, which does not make sense in places, but i'm sort of seeing a way in which Harry can defeat Voldemort.
This is for racquel and Julia to mince over and then laugh at it's inept nature.
A critical error on Lord Voldemorts part from the goblet of fire.
Voldemort used three powerful ingeridents in his rebirthing potion/spell.
Those were:
The bone of his father - created a skeleton
Flesh of the servant willingly given - gave Voldemorts new body muscle, skin and organs ie brain, lungs etc
Blood of the foe forcibly taken - Gave the new body life ie blood carrys oxygen around the body.
The critical error from that rebirthing magic ?
Harry's blood.
Now we have to backtrack to the first book where Dumbledore explains things to Harry at the end.
'Your mother died to save you. If there is one thing Voldemort cannot understand, it is love. He did'nt realise that love as
powerful as your mother's for you leaves it's own mark. Not a scar, no visible sign ... to have been loved so deeply,
even though the person who loved us is gone, will give us some protection forever. It is in your very skin....'
Now as we know this protection made it impossible for Quirrel to touch Harry, in fact it caused him mortal agony and lead to his eventual death.
Now we fast forward to the goblet of fire, Lord Voldemort is now able to touch Harry. I think this is precisely because Voldemort now has an element of Harry inside of him.
Thus this enables Voldemort to touch Harry without hurting himself or Harry.
The blood he used is not that important, rather it contained the power the dark lord knows not.
Now Dumbledore has explained in the Half blood prince that Harry's power is love. And it is because of Harry's ablity to love that protects him from Voldemort and the brand of magic he uses.
Now once Harry finds and destroys Voldemorts remaining Horcruxes, the final showdown will most likely take place.
Voldemort will still have his magical power and intellect. Harry will have all the knowledge he has amassed over the years and his power to love on his side.
Now the thing with the blood is, it adds yet another layer to the connection between Harry and Voldemort, the scar being the most important.
I think Harry will have to break his connection with Voldemort and also make Voldemort feel the power of love.
There are a number of ways in which Harry can do this. However i get the feeling that Harry may have to do something similar to what Lilly did.
Which means Harry will most likely die, but take Voldemort with him.
I think that if Voldemort ever felt the power that is contained within Harry, will cause him great pain, in a mental and physical sense.
This will then open Voldemort up to his greatest fear, which is death. I think at this point Voldemort will feel the loss he himself created by making horcruxes.
He may well suffer a lapse of magical power, thus creating an opening for Harry in which to vanquish Voldemort.
Harry could use the AK curse, but i doubt that, rather Harry will use a spell not unlike Dumbledore tried to use on Voldemort in book 5.
Which could be the opposite of the AK Curse ie it is not fueled by hatred and anger, but by love itself.
Rambling theory, but it's a rather nice one, but is probably wide of the mark as to how things will pan out between Harry and Voldemort in the final battle.
