Sod the Mickey haters, they are the ones that want Rose to be a screaming wench and for the Time Lord's to berate the doctor for being an idiot time traveller.

Mickey was slighty annoying at first, but he's grown on me as a character.
If Billie Piper leaves, then he'd be a good stop gap companion along with captain Jack for the Doctor, until the Doctor picks up the next female companion.

I'm making it sound like the Doctor is a PIMP and the TARDIS is his Bling Bling PIMP Mobile. Which happens to pick up ladies of the night through out time.

I like Mickey - although I can't see why he'd want to travel with the Doctor, particularly if Rose isn't there.
