I'll try and get some pictures of me chasing my nephew with that contraption on my head on saturday. Though the question is did you watch series 2 of doctor who and did you like Billie Pipers rear bumper ?
Me and Racquel walked right past Billie Piper (sort of made up for not seeing radiohead).
I've never seen the new Doctor Who eps. I have no idea what you're talking about. It's never been my thing. Having said that, I used to get scared watching some of the Sylvester McCoy-era eps. Particularly the one where a guy would put his hands on another person's face and there would be this nasty deflating sound as he sucked the lifeforce from them. It was pretty sick, actually.
However, I do like Billie Piper. She's quite an attractive girl. She could suck my lifeforce anytime.
Hehe! Doesn't sound QUITE as good with a female voice so I might have to give that one a miss, although I LOVE the light up mouth.
You don't sound keen on your sonic screwdriver in another post - is that the UV one or the LED torch? I love mine (although I would prefer a metal verion. Must keep reminding self these things are aimed at children....)
I'd love it if they made replica versions of the sonic screwdriver prop that's used on the show (but it would probably cost an arm and a leg). You don't have to use the voice changer function on the helmet, it's got a few different phrases that were used in the tv series. It's pretty neat, i think it would make a cool part of a halloween costume. I've added you to my friends list btw as doctor who fans must stick together etc. Though i don't see why the kids should have all the fun with these toys. Next on the list is the Tardis playset and some action figures hehe.
I read somewhere that the toy sonic was much more durable than their prop sonic so they got the moulds from the manufacturers and based the TV one on the toy instead. Although they must have shrunk it a bit as the UV sonic toy is a lot bigger than the TV one. I do like the size of the torch one though.
They may well do an (expensive, naturally!) collector's edition of the sonic, it wouldn't surprise me. If they take into account the amount of adult fans gained over 40 years or so since the beginning, thats a biiiig market.
I've got myself almost convinced it would be a good idea to build a Tardis at some point ;)
If your good at wordwork, then building a shed sized TARDIS should'nt be a problem.
Though no more Doctor Who merchindise apart from Doctor Who Magazine for me. I'm saving up for the Canon EOS 350D SLR. I want to take up photography properly as my sony camera is pants for taking decent photographs. I caught the photograhpy bug off my grandad, who was a good amauter photographer. I tend to drivel on.
I don't really have anywhere to put a shed sized Tardis at the moment, although that will be my goal. P'raps I should start with a Tardis bin ;)
Ooo I THINK that's the camera one of my pals recentlyish bought (also a Doc Who fan, also on LJ) and her photos are always top notch. The colours are beautiful.
I upgraded from my trusty old Olympus c-40z this year to a Canon A620 on a recommendation and although I loved the Olympus, I think I love the Canon even more. I don't know enough about using it properly yet, but I'm learning...

I'm so evil. Next on my list is a couple of the smaller action figures and the Tardis playset.
